Which currency is my customer actually charged in?
The converter changes the prices a shopper sees while browsing. Shopify processes the checkout in your store's currency unless you have enabled multi-currency payments in Shopify Markets. That is exactly why the Pro plan includes a checkout notification, so a shopper is told which currency they will be billed in before they reach checkout, rather than being surprised by it.
