Which blockchain and which tokens does it support?
Solana. You can gate on an NFT collection or on a Solana meme token, so a community organised around a coin is served as well as one organised around a collection.
How does my store know a shopper holds the token?
The shopper connects their Solana wallet to your store. The app reads what that wallet holds and unlocks the discounts, or the locked products, that those holdings entitle them to.
Do I need to write any code?
No. You install the app, point it at a collection or a token, and publish a campaign from the app admin. Token-gated product locks on Shopify Plus are set up the same way, without code.
Do I need to already have an NFT collection?
No. You can import a third-party Solana collection that already exists and give its holders your perk, without owning the collection. If you would rather have your own, you can create a collection and hand it to your loyal customers.
What is a token-gated product lock?
A gated discount changes the price. A product lock changes whether the product is there at all: a shopper who does not hold the token never sees it. Product locks are for Shopify Plus stores and are included on the Pro and Premium plans.
What counts as a token-gated order?
An order placed using a perk that a token unlocked. The Free plan includes ten of them for the lifetime of the plan. Starter includes up to one hundred a month, Pro five hundred, and Premium two thousand.
Can I match the gate to my store's design?
Styling customization is included on the Starter, Pro and Premium plans. The Free plan runs the default styling.
Is there a free plan or a free trial?
The Free plan does not expire and includes ten token-gated orders. The Starter plan begins with a free 7 day trial. Pro and Premium do not include a trial, so start on Free or Starter if you want to try the app before committing to one of them.
